We're really glad you liked our one year show. It was a blast to look back over the past year and reminisce about the growth we've experienced. I had forgot about the Turkey show back on Thanksgiving! Looking back, that was funny! It stunk when I did it though, lol The difference in the first and most recent show is indeed due to a studio mic. When we did the first show, I had a studio mic but no pop filter. Laura used a headset mic if I recall correctly. We had originally gotten the gear so that I could do a podcast on NASCAR racing so we didn't really need the second mic. After we completed the first show or two, we immediately ordered a studio mic along with boom stands for both of us. Well, sound still wasn't where we wanted so I was reading about pop filters so we ran to Radio Shack right before recording one of those early episodes and picked up two foam covers for our mics. That's been pretty much the setup ever since. I would like to go a little higher end on the mics but they are working fine for now I think. Thanks again for sticking with us!
