Spooktalkular Episode 036

Wow, number 36 down.  Really a fun episode.  We were joined in by the Spookchatties in the Chat room.  Swing by sometime and join us live.  We have a blast.  Laura shared some Haunted Headlines and we headed into TV.  Our good friend Emily couldn’t join us, Laura did the ‘Ghost Whisperer’ update.  From there, we headed into ‘Mystery Quest’, ‘Medium’ and ‘Destination Truth’.  Then, we covered the latest controversy surrounding the ‘Ghost Hunters’ by taking a quick listen to the latest video.  A water bottle has moved on it’s own.  Or has it?  Oddly enough, the window behind it moved also.  Check it out and let us know what you think.

Then, our Independent Music Break featured Tenpenny Joke from Melbourne, Australia.  The song was ‘She’ and it kicks.  Be sure to check them out at http://www.myspace.com/tenpennyjoke.  We headed back to ‘Harper’s Island’ to discuss episodes 8 and 9 and rounded out the show with a great interview with David Lewis who played Richard Allen on ‘Harper’s Island’.

Wow, what a show!

Just finished listening to podcast no.36. I enjoyed it. I didn’t enjoy the Richard Allen interview as much as the Anna Mae Routledge interview from last week, but that was going to be a hard act to follow.

The Harper’s Island discussion was a blast (great to listen to) and I was LMAO (not literally) when you were both discussing how Catherine could have been bumped off when there was hardly any room behind the sofa. I also thought “did he just say that?” when the actress who played Catherine was being described (she was very attractive Catherine in Harper’s Island).

Loved the Anna Mae Routledge ad bumper. They should bottle her positivity!

I had to keep rewinding parts of the HI discussion and Richard Allen interview as there were some bits which I couldn’t hear properly. And yet I had the volume dial on my computer on full. The sound for this podcast wasn’t as clear as previous podcasts. Still enjoyed the podcast though.

Thanks for the mention as well. There should be more people posting in the blog for the podcasts, like on the BTFB podcast blog pages. Spooktalkular makes a nice companion podcast to BTFB, and yet the former started before BTFB!

    I liked the Trick ‘r Treat mention/discussion.

Regarding Paranormal Activity I read on Zap2it earlier tonight that the director of that film is going to be directing a film about Area 51.

If there was one TV show I’d like to see discussed (maybe in a new section of the show, about classic TV series) is Unsolved Mysteries, hosted by Robert Stack.
