Spooktalkular is a somewhat weekly independent audio podcast production by husband and wife team Frank and Laura.  The show has been broadcasting since July of 2008 and is preparing to start it’s third year of burning up the Internet airwaves.  Frank and Laura are both open-minded and enjoy the paranormal with Laura being the more outwardly accepting and Frank being a bit more of a skeptic but still open minded.  Together they discuss the current offerings in Paranormal Entertainment or Paratainment.

This mostly covers television with shows such as “Ghost Hunters” (Domestic and International), “Paranormal State” and “Ghost Adventures” but it also includes fictional dramas like “Ghost Whisperer”.

With Laura and Frank both being fans of Horror and Thriller movies, reviews and news are often included in the show.

From time to time, they include other topics in related to the study of the Paranormal.  This includes UFOs, Ghost Hunting, Cryptozoology and much more.

Information is presented with no judgments made by the hosts, thus challenging the listener to make his or her own minds up.  Is it true or isn’t it?

If you are a content owner in the Paratainment/Paranormal genre and would like to come on the show and discuss your project, Spooktalkular would welcome you.  Frank and Laura are fans of all things independent especially.  Typically, we record in advance so we can usually accommodate about any scheduling needs.  We are set up to record interviews by Skype or regular telephone.

As Spooktalkular has grown, the need for occasional breaks has come up.  During these breaks, Frank and Laura fill them with promos from friends and/or independent music.  If you have an independent band and would like to have your music played on Spooktalkular, send us the song you’d like to have played in 128bit or better MP3 format along with permission to play it to music@spooktalkular.com.  Be sure to include a link to your band’s website so that we can include it in the show notes when we use your song.  We like just about anything alternative rock.  We just ask that all music submitted be original works and not a cover.  That just keeps all of us out of trouble with the RIAA.
